Our Purpose

Our Story: Nurturing Healing from Within

In 2018, our journey began as an extension of Art of the Soul, an established mental health practice in Indiana since 2010. Beyond clinical work, we envisioned a space where individuals could actively engage in their healing journeys.
However, after 2018, our focus shifted temporarily due to significant expansion in our main company, leading to a pause in Healing Seed's development. Despite plans to resume in Fall 2019, unforeseen events, including the 2020 pandemic, brought about dramatic changes, with a newfound emphasis on shifting to online services.

In 2021, we were contracted to provide art therapy for refugees in a military camp, where we witnessed profound transformations through art during eight intense weeks. Throughout these years, our "healing seed" quietly grew and evolved, leading us to where we are today. Our collective experiences and wisdom have merged into a reflection uniquely attuned to enrich and resonate with your personal journey.

In 2022, recognizing the need to further our professional expertise and nurture ourselves after the demanding work with refugees, we dedicated the year to immersive training experiences. These trainings served both professional development and personal healing purposes.

The year 2023 brought personal challenges, yet amidst the trials emerged a newfound clarity. Throughout these years, our "healing seed" was quietly growing and evolving, preparing to bring forth this content—a culmination of our experiences, wisdom, and deep attunement—to you, the participant. It's a reflection of the depths of our souls, carefully crafted to resonate with yours.

Crafting Courses with Intention

Every course we curate is a product of profound reflection on our participants, anchored in a social justice perspective. Drawing from a diverse array of models and trainings accumulated over our collective 24 years of experience, we ensure that each course meets the unique needs of our community.

Tina Williams, trained in EMDR, and Jessica, in Brainspotting, both bring their expertise as Registered and Board Certified Art Therapists and mental health clinicians to the table. Our approach integrates somatic experiences, relationships, andattachment as a foundational element, serving as the bedrock for our course development.

Our Commitment to Your Healing Journey

At Healing Seed, our commitment extends beyond conventional therapy. We are dedicated to nurturing an environment where healing transcends boundaries, where individuals are empowered to navigate their paths with resilience and self-awareness.

Join us in this transformative journey, where the seeds of healing within you are acknowledged, nurtured, and encouraged to flourish.

Warmly,

Jessica Buescher & Tina Williams
